Goodness & Mercí
For the Childcare Professional

Not a folder of forms. A program that holds together.

The Complete Home Daycare Startup Kit is the operational backbone of a licensed home daycare — a Handbook, an Agreement, a Rate Sheet, and the paperwork that surrounds them, written to reference each other so your program says the same thing everywhere a family looks.

How it fits together

Four documents, one agreement.

Most templates are sold one at a time, which is how a handbook ends up promising one thing and a contract another. These were written as a set.

The Parent Handbook

Sets your policies — hours, rates, illness, holidays, discipline, termination. Everything else points back to it.

The Parent-Provider Agreement

The contract a family signs. Its terms match the Handbook's policies, so the two can't contradict each other later.

The Tuition & Rate Sheet

States what you charge and when it's due, in the same language the Agreement uses to enforce it.

The Handbook Acknowledgment

The signed record that a family received and read the Handbook — the piece that makes the other three hold up.

Change your rates in one place, and the rest still agrees.

The Parent-Provider Agreement, Handbook Acknowledgment, emergency contacts, consent and authorization, authorized pickup, and withdrawal.

4

Every Day

Daily care cards, sign in and out, drill logs, field trip permission, infant feeding, and medication administration.

6

Money & Records

Payment receipts, late payment and rate increase notices, attendance summaries, records release, termination, and a year-end tax statement.

Told plainly

What isn't in this Kit, on purpose.

A generic version of a form your state controls isn't a shortcut. It's a licensing problem.

Medication authorizations, allergy action plans, incident and injury reports, safe sleep acknowledgments, and immunization records are not included. Your state — or a child’s health care provider — controls those documents, and the required version is the only one that counts.

So the Kit does something more useful than hand you a substitute: the Regulatory Forms Checklist tells you exactly what to obtain, who to get it from, and where each document lives once you have it.

The same honesty applies to the Agreement. It is a thorough, working contract — and the places where your state’s rules or your own situation call for an attorney’s eyes are named rather than glossed over. You’ll know what you have and what still needs a professional.
